Pupil and sports premium records about our school.
Pupil Premium is allocated funding for children from low-income families who are eligible for free school meals, looked after children and those from families with parents in the Armed Forces.

St Peter’s Catholic Primary School is allocated additional funding with the aim of improving the provision of PE and sport.
All pupils leaving St Peter’s will be physically literate and with the knowledge, skills and motivation necessary to equip them for a healthy lifestyle and lifelong participation in physical activity and sport.
Our objective is to achieve self-sustaining improvement in the quality of PE and sport. Our indicators of such improvement to include:

When we start reception, we trace, write and colour in our names. This is stuck in the front of our literacy books as a marker of our baseline ability when we started school. All writing opportunities improve our fine motor skills, as well as offering the adults a chance to improve our pencil grip.

As part of our All About Me topic, we’ve spent time designing a jigsaw piece. We’ve written our name and drawn some of our favourite people, foods, and activities. Mr Jobes will cut the pieces out and they’ll all fit together, just like we do as a team.
