This admissions policy has been formally adopted by the governing body of St Peter’s Catholic Primary School, Gateshead. The governing body is the Admissions Authority and is responsible for determining the school’s admissions arrangements.

How and when to apply
Applications must be made online via the Gateshead Council’s website. Applications must be completed by the closing date set by Gateshead Council. Gateshead School Admissions Team can be contacted on 0191 433 3909 or 0191 433 6185. Visits to school are welcome and encouraged. Important Dates for September 2026 Admissions
| 8 September 2025 | The online admissions system opens for parents to apply at: www.gateshead.gov.uk/schooladmissions. |
| 15 January 2026 | Closing date for submitting applications. |
| 16 April 2026 | Email and letters are sent to parents informing them of the outcome of their application. |
| 22 May 2026 | Any places that become available will be offered from the schools waiting list. |

- Monday 1st December 2025 at 10:00am.
