Today in our PSHE lesson we spent time developing our economic understanding and learning about inflation. Firstly we learnt a definition of inflation and looked at many different items that we would purchase in shops and how their price has changed over decades. Following this, we discussed why inflation happens and how it doesn’t just happen to chocolate bars and toys, but also bigger purchases like houses and cars.
