What would you like to witness?
A post in our latest news section.

This week in our R.E lessons, we have looked at our new RE topic, ‘Witnesses’. We considered our big question, ‘What do I want to witness in my life?’ And have looked at not one but, two lines of enquiry already too.
We held a debate and considered the implications of baring witness. There are many positives and negatives to this which we debated in detail, making links to our own experiences and scripture too.
After this, we looked at a reading from Matthew’s Gospel and considered how the disciples witnessed Jesus. They witnessed Jesus as he performed miracles and brought the word to life; through his actions and words.
To complete this lesson, we thought about how we could act as living witnesses to the word of God and share this with everyone around us.
