Maths – Explain Shape Arrangements

To learn how to explain shape arrangements, we headed outside to use our large outdoor shape set on what was a very windy day. If you’re wondering why our shapes have rocks on top, it was to stop them from blowing away! Our task was to describe a shape’s position in relation to other shapes in the arrangement. We used the language of next to, above, underneath, and in between.
