This afternoon, we gathered together as a whole school, for the first time this year, to celebrate the word. In our celebration of the word, we thought about what it means to have a new start, the emotions we feel and the new opportunities that a new start can bring. We listened to a reading from the book of Joshua which reminded us that on our journey through this new school year, we are never alone, God is always with us. We reflected upon this scripture by listening to a piece of music, before praying for God to guide and bless us in this new year.
