Year 3 ‘On the Ning nang nong’

Today we learnt about the nonsense poem ‘on the Ning nang nong’ by Spike Milligan. We looked at the features and found that it was completely ‘wacky’ and made no sense. We highlighted rhyming couplets and looked for onomatopoeias. After this, we rehearsed the poem and performed it to the rest of the class.
