We continued with our Domestic Church R.E. topic, looking further at names and how we know that we are loved, both by our loving parents and God. Mr Jobes displayed photos of us being held as babies and we discussed how we would’ve felt, safe and snug in our parents’ arms. For our main activity, we drew our names out of a hat and had to stand as everyone said, “Please, God, take care of …….” There were also opportunities within the provision for us to make handprints in sand and scribe our name alongside them, trace, write, and colour in our names, and hold babies snugly in the home corner.
