P.E. in the EYFS is as much about core skills, such as throwing and catching, as it is about the other areas of the curriculum. Team work requires communication and language, turn taking and co-operation links to PSHE, plus there’s the obvious links to gross and fine motor. More than anything, it’s a brilliant time of the week to have fun under the watchful eye of Coach Spencer.
