In our RE lesson today, we continued to answer our big question; Who am I? We focused upon this line of enquiry: What qualities did God give people in the story of Creation and how did he want them to be used? In the lesson, we listened to and then re-read ourselves, Genesis 1:26-31. We considered the key questions, picking apart the scripture and working out what the words meant to us.
In our books, we then described how this extract and the reading as a whole might affect the daily life of a Christian and then went one step further and considered how the qualities we have been given can be developed as we work hard to fulfil our role as stewards of creation.
At the end of the lesson, we were all challenged to live out our Christian duty to protect the world and do our bets to love our neighbours as God loves us.
