Today we had our very first Collective Worship. We talked about how we transform the classroom into a sacred space, the importance of arranging our focal point, and how ‘the word’ that we hear comes from the Bible. Today’s worship was linked to our current R.E. topic of Domestic Church, in which we’re learning all about how God calls us by our name, and asking ourselves why families are important. Today, we responded to the word by passing around a stone heart in a circle of love with each of us saying what are parents do that makes them loving.
