Reception class visited St Peter’s to learn about a variety of things you find in a Catholic church. Without a mass taking place, we were able to take a much closer look at all the different areas. We found and talked about the pews, aisle, altar, font, and tabernacle. We also learned how to genuflect when we enter church and pass the alter. This is a mark of respect to God.
